Mr.P's DJ Service began 32 years ago as two High School Students doing school dances for their own school district. My lovely wife Tracey and I decided to expand after graduation and begin doing outside events. Birthday parties for friends and eventually Boy Scout events, retirement functions and soon after Weddings. We never expected this endeavor to become what it is today. We just decided one afternoon to really pursue becoming the best Professional DJ Service money can buy. Since our start we have won several awards from many different entities, some of which are not even in business any longer. When we moved to Central Florida 17 years ago in 1998-1999 we really focursed on our new market. We had the support of many friends and past clients, many of which intertwine, we had glorious reviews to share and a brand new mind set to show "Florida"...
Since our Florida migration we have worked well over a thousand events. We currently work for over 53 central Florida Schools, doing Proms, Homecomings, Sadie Hawkins Dances, Spring Flings, Christmas / Holiday Events, Fund Raisers and even Field Day and Senior Grad Bash Events... We have several counties on our resume and we are registered as dividends and volunteers in several counties as well as School Districts as registered vendors. School events was our beginning in this business and we "Give Back" to our community through these school events with discounted / reduced labor pricing so PTA / PTSA groups feel less strain and the kids monies can go further for their enjoyment.
We also work for many Florida businesses for their conference needs at many hotels, where PA systems are needed for meetings and training sessions. Many of these companies use us for their Holiday get togethers at these hotels as well. We do events for Florida Hospital, Gaylord Palms, Care Management and LeCongress just to name a few. We take great pride in these accounts and look forward to their yearly events and parties.
Our most popular events are our private events. We do Sweet 16's, Quince's, Weddings of all Ethnic backgrounds, Bar and Bat Mitzvah's, Bachelor and Bachelorette Parties, Retirement Events, Birthday Party's for all ages, House Warming Party's, Homecoming's for Veterans, Graduation Party's and most everything you can think of, we have worked one.
Our event pallet is quite extensive, and so is our experience. My wife and I have performed at over 1800 Weddings in our career and that doesn't include miscellaneous events. We are lucky enough that our children have joined us and their experience is growing by leaps and bounds weekly. Our Son AJ is a very accomplished wedding DJ with several hundred under his belt and he works many of the school events and Sweet 16's and Quinces. His music knowledge is second to none. Our Daughter Erika is a Sign Language interpreter with a degree in its legal usage. This makes her quite an asset to Mr.P's DJ Service for large corporate events that require this service. It is available as an up charge to our client base as well. We employ 13 fully background checked and professionally trained and dressed associates that we utilize as helpers, laborers at our events. These keynote individuals are polite, courteous and available for many different services including security.
Our business equipment is the best money can buy. Literally, we own speakers that cost as much as $1800 each and mixing consoles that rival many concert systems. We can handle any event, large or small. We have done intimate weddings for 12 to 16 people to Concert events for several thousand. We only use name brand equipment by the finest makers, QSC, Crown, JBL, Peavey, EV, Rane, Apple, Allen and Heath, Shure and Sennheiser. We pride ourselves on keeping a vast library available at our fingertips covering many ethnic groups and decades. Our equipment is something that contributes toward our success and the best means no breakdowns and the best sound quality.
Our Best Practices include the following mission statement. "Your event is our #1 Priority, we want your needs met, your guests happy". That being said we don't nickel and dime you when your quote is released for your approval, we include "EVERYTHING" in one price structure. You get uplighting, Dance lighting, wireless microphones, Professional M/C announcements the works under one quote. We pride ourselves in the ability to cover your event needs under one pricing structure. That makes us better than our competition. We also work with a very simple 32 year old contract that isn't written in "Latin". It is who, what, when, where, why and how much. We believe this simplifies life and makes folks feel more comfortable. Who really wants fine print in a contract anyhow ? It only makes for hidden agendas and we want you happy planning your event not wondering if your DJ contract has some hidden loophole. Lastly, in the 32 years we have been in business we have "NEVER" missed an event, that makes everyone feel good inside... Their are "4" of us as your DJ's all family, so your event will get done.
